As an iniative to promote societal growth and community, our societies have set up the Jom Makan discount card as a benefit and thank you to our members for becoming part of our home-away-from-home.

The Jom Makan card can be collected free of charge from any of the societies part of our team after the purchase of their membership! See the faq for more details.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You can collect the card anytime during the year from your university’s society, for example if you purchased UCL Malaysian Society’s membership, you collect the card from any of the committee members.

    Do note you can only collect it once the membership is purchased and only from your own society from your own university.

  • The restaurants listed on the home page are for the 2024/25 academic year from September to June.

    Our Jom Makan card is renewed on a yearly basis, and you can check which restaurants have been added or removed during September or October!

  • Bring the card in person to any of the restaurants for the year and present it to them upon payment with all restaurants on a dine in only basis.

    If they don’t recognise it, don’t panic! You can show them this website with their restaurant confirmed, and if anything reach out to us and we can check it up with the restaurants ourselves.

  • Yes! Your Jom Makan card that you’ve received in your first year with your society will last for the entire duration of your studies in London!

    However, in the case that restaurants may not recognise your card with an older design, simply show the store our website which acknowledges our previous card designs.
